Sarah Anderson is an aspiring ceramicist currently working on her BFA at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. Growing up in Northern Virginia she was always found with pencil in hand filling notebook after notebook with comics. Her current focus is in functional ceramics and is working to incorporate her comics into her ceramic pieces. Sarah enjoys being involved in the local craft scene in Richmond; volunteering at Hardywood Brewery’s Spring Bada-Bing Craft Show, interning at the Visual Arts Center, and staying involved with VCU’s Contemporary Craft Society club.
